Our cosy premises really were a bank here in the lovely Norfolk village of Snettisham, now converted into a bright, relaxed space where you can come alone, with your family or friends for a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast, elevenses, lunch, tea or supper. And when winter’s over and the sun comes out, try our walled garden for summer drinks or a meal that makes the most of the warmer weather.

Beautiful county, beautiful produceWe’re just ten minutes from the stunning beaches of North West Norfolk, 5 minutes from Sandringham , less than 2 minutes from Park Farm, surrounded by exquisite countryside … and we do our best to create the food we serve using the fine produce for which our area is so famous. Seafood, samphire, crab, mussels, cockles and game …meats, vegetables, breads … we source as much as possible from our trusted local suppliers.   It’s not big, but it is cleverWe’re a family run business, people who love and understand good food. Our tastes extend from the best of British to an eclectic mix from all over the world. We may be limited in size, but never in imagination and our enthusiasm for eating well is reflected in our sample menus. Taste one of our themed eveningsOur themed evenings aren’t just fun, they’re a great chance to try tasty food from different cultures. Watch out for our popular Mexican and Indian suppers. And if you have any ideas of your own for a theme you think we should consider, just tell any of our team while they serve you and if we choose your theme, you can come and eat the result for free.  Christmas at The Old BankSnettisham is famous for its Victorian Christmas Market in early December. It’s a wonderful evening event that brings together local residents and visitors – and The Old Bank is at the centre of the celebrations, offering jacket potatoes, local beers, mulled wine and hot spiced apple juice. Stop by for food and drinks to warm you through and listen to our musical guests, the Salvation Army Band. |
